About Morgan
Morgan Brayton was born and raised in the satanic capital of Victoria, BC. She now makes her home in Vancouver where she performs, writes and enjoys vegan cupcakes with her wife and an excessive number of cats. Morgan is the writer/performer of the award-winning and critically acclaimed one-person shows Girls Like Me and Morgan Brayton…Gets Physical. She was one-half of the comedy duo The Crawford Twins and a former member of the popular sketch troupe 30 Helens. Sharing the stage with the likes of Janeane Garofalo, Elvira Kurt, Julie Goldman and Scott Thompson, Morgan has been a featured performer at Toronto’s We’re Funny That Way Festival and the Vancouver Comedy Festival. She was a regular columnist with Xtra West for three years where her humour column, Siren, discussed everything from relationships to queer politics in a frank, funny manner. An accomplished film and television actor, Morgan can be seen on big and small screens everywhere in a wide range of roles such as: Chubby Best Friend, Cashier Number Two and Person with Face.
