The Lady Show has been putting the JOY in feminist killjoy at their monthly-ish Vancouver shows for almost three years. They bring their mix of stand up, sketch, monologue, satirical news, and tearaway pants to the Vancouver Fringe this year. The Lady Show stars Diana Bang (Assaulted Fish, The Interview), Morgan Brayton (Vancouver Fringe Critics’ Choice Award, OutTV's Morgan Brayton & Other People), Fatima Dhowre (Winnipeg Comedy Fest, JFL NorthWest), and Katie-Ellen Humphries (Vancouver Comedy Joke of the Year Award, CBC's The Debaters). It's a variety show featuring comedy about growing up in a Somali-Canadian family, a song about the accomplishments of one’s forehead, a ladybug suspected of arson, a seasoned road comic who’s definitely been there, The Lady News, a remake of Twins for our times, and other nonsense. You know, the usual.
